Recommendation for Raw Water Pump rebuild

My Yanmar raw water pumps seem to be notorious for leaking if I let them sit for too long.
There is a "lip seal" inside that will dry up and allow for water to weep out, quite rapidly too at times.
I purchased a new set of raw water pumps and was looking online to replace the seals myself.

It didn't seem like it was too easy as I would need some tools I did not have.

Found Depco Pump Company in Clearwater FL. They rebuilt the pumps, seals, cleaned them up and even repainted them with Yanmar silver/gray paint and supplied new O rings in the box. $22 per pump. $44 plus shipping back to me of $13; grand total of $57 dollars, no scraped knuckles, no frustration, and not a single trip to home depot.

Now I have a very good spare set ready and waiting.

They suggested I get some Dawn dish soap into the existing pumps if they are going to be sitting for long in the future.
