Soundproofing Engine Spaces and Boxes

Post by John Nardi »

Hi Guys...Wanted to see what type, thickness and areas in the engine space soundproof insulation you all recommend...If Soundown is still the standard, what type and thickness do you suggest?? What is the maximum thickness you would use on the engine boxes? Thanks, John

John

Maybe Bruce or Mike remember his name, but we used to have a contact at Soundown. I thought he was in Florida and he used to monitor the board but have not seen anything from him in a long time.
