Did some research perhaps useful info- upgrading to newer sealed battaries are not compatable with stock B chargers... In my case my wet 4D's have to be replaced with wet 4D's. Stock chargers lack over-heat sensing and appropriate charge rate for the newer style batteries. Greetings from Stock Is. Fl, Rex

That has to be a really old charger. New technology tapers the charge helping the batteries come up to a full charge.

Yes, stock charger from '91. Yes, it does taper charge but lacks bells and whistles of new chargers designed for modern sealed batteries. Got a lot of conflicting stories- talked directly to an AGM manufacturer and couldn't have been more absolute
