TED Talks.. worth a look

I have posted once before about this site.. TED Talks.

Speakers on an endless variety of subjects are invited to give brief, 5 to 15 minutes long talks, about subjects they are intimate with. The talk below is presented by a retired policeman who speaks of his experiences as he patrolled an area in CA that included the Golden Gate Bridge. He had hundreds of occasions to speak with people threatening to committ suicide by jumping.

I realize TED has nothing to do with boats, fishing or any similar subjects, and this post is "off topic" in this forum, but I suggest that you take a few minutes on occasion and go to TED.com and watch some of their talks.. I suspect you will find it an interesting assortment of subjects.
