snakes

Post by Charlie J »

ok question for you guys down south
just came across a 6 ft black snake on my deck, looks like a racer snake.
went back under the deck, awhile later I see a little one, and he went back under the deck, nice.
now my deck is low to the ground and theres no way this fat ass is getting under there.
now the question, how do I kill them, or move them out.

I have heard that a way to keep snakes away is to put Lime down around the area..........and if it were me.....I would do it liberally......

AR-15's work real well also! ! !

Charlie, they are your friends....honest. They are completely harmless except to mice, rats, moles, voles, etc! I would never remove one from around my property; in fact, if you catch him, send it my way!

Put some mice in a wire cage and leave on deck. When they come out to feed grab em.
Sure they ain't water moccasins?
Is the eye pupil round or vertical?

Unusual to have racers on a boat unless there is a rat or mice issue.

I think he means the deck on the house not the boat. If it was the boat, I would pull the plug and sink the dam thing.

Tony,
