Yes Steve, it was very good. I bought some stuff including underwater transom lights, and several hynautic hydraulic throttle and transmission actuators as replacement spares for my Vetus hydraulics that are no longer supported by Vetus. The weather was perfect too. I flew a quick trip up to JFK Thursday and came back Friday. It was freezing up there. Why would you leave Fort Lauderdale in January for New York? I'm guessing work? That's why I did last week. I'm in Rio now, and it is warm and sunny.
Thanks,
Craig

Re: Pompano Marine Flea Market
who do you fly for ?
I work full time in NY now ..... it beats being unemployed in FL, which is what left my 31 neglected and ultimately sent me back to NY.
31 is getting new hydraulic sterring this week and then the deck can be painted.....it's coming along.
wrestlng with suppliers in FL to get AZEK, which I want for my cockpit side panels.

Steve, I fly 757s and 767s for the New American Airlines. Glad to hear progress is being made on your boat while you are away.

So Craig how would I ever know I am on one of your flights? You need to wear a faithfull sign around your neck.Craig G wrote:Steve, I fly 757s and 767s for the New American Airlines. Glad to hear progress is being made on your boat while you are away.

Best flight ever, smoothest landing etc....You will just have to listen to those PAs. We have several Captain Gordon's, but I'm the only one with the first name Craig. I do wear my blue Bertram baseball cap while flying with the sun in my face, but the passengers usually don't see me wearing it.
Thanks,
Craig

Ok then, you have never been my Chauffer. Usually I get bouncy flights and landings. Heck, even a couple of weird take off's.

You could identify yourself like this, "From the flight deck this is your RLDT captain Craig Gordon." Only the faithful would understand.

Re: Pompano Marine Flea Market
Captain wasn't that sea sickness self induced? An inability to retain "Clear" liquids?

The clear liquids alone weren't enough. It was the added bacon, eggs, and more bacon that pushed him over the edge.......several times.

Re: Pompano Marine Flea Market
I have a fishing buddy who had a bad experience with whiskey & pork products. For many years just the mention of the greasy pork chop sandwich was enough to send him running. Great sport in mixed company and in a public settings. At one point I had abused him so much just an extended stare in his direction would get his gag reflex up and running. It was actually quite handy as he could be an obnoxious little pecker head and often was in need of a tune up.
Ahh the good old days........
