I currently have the Cummins 4BT and I am wrapping up my gas to diesel conversion on my 28' Flybridge Cruise. In order to get the center engine deck lid down I need to remove the coolant tank from the port motor and will put a remote tank in. My question is, I am looking for a cummins part number for the hose that would replace the tank. It goes from the heat exchanger to the coolant intake at the front of the head.
I have seen many different setups with the 6BT's with remote tanks.
Can anyone help?

I believe that your answer is in the second paragraph above. Once you start customizing the instal, you get many different versions. As such, I would think that such a hose would be a custom fit to the specific install. IOW, I don't think that Cummins has a part that would fit your specific install...conchy joe wrote:I am looking for a cummins part number for the hose that would replace the tank.
