Has anyone every heard or dealt with AAA Medflight Freedom? Apparently it's a company associated with AAA that offers vacationers: Emergency Medical Evacuation, Transportation to your hospital of choice, emergency travel arrangements, etc. We've called AAA and they assured they are a sponsor of this company. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them?
Thanks,
Russ

All that is necessary for evil to succeed
is that good men do nothing.

Re: Question for the world travelers
No I haven't but in my experience most companies sponsored by AAA are reputable.
Looking for my next boat!
Re: Question for the world travelers
I have similar insurance DAN (Divers Alert Network) when I travel abroad.
http://www.diversalertnetwork.org/insurance/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I only use it when traveling to remote places without good medical care. If something goes wrong they come and get you via jet.
It is normally a couple hundred bucks for the trip and I simply calculate it into the cost of a remote trip. For remote places in the South Pacific, South America, Africa, it is well worth it.
