Summers on the way
In the high 70's......pollen is falling like a yellow blanket all over everything......river water temp is 61......spring here in the Deep South is in full swing.
This year I predict that spring will last nearly 1 full week.....LOL
I found this pic tonight.....and wanted to share.....this shot is in Mobile Bay......we were coming home from the Blue Angels air show last July.
Life is getting back to normal for me......time to go for a boat ride! ! !

Ok Harry!
Hey highs in the 70s and water temps in the 60s is about the top of Summer up here.
Looks good, enjoy and thanks for your help in bringing me closer to that this season.

Awesome picture...best place in the boat to sit and relax, hear ocean spray and diesels chugging away with light turbo whine...a glance behind to watch the wake...goose bumps.
That's when it all becomes worth it.

I was waiting for, "April Fools!" Still winter up her in da nort. People are ugly, women are still parka clad and curves are not visible. This has been the winter from hell. I feel confident that one day soon I will run the furnace in the morning and the AC in the afternoon. Any one have any tips for sabotaging an electric meter?

Ah yes! Nothing better than sitting back there coming home from the Canyon. Open an eye every once in a while to check that the guy running the boat is paying attention.

Bob
I am pushing as much of Spring as I can to you guys.....will not be much longer.
How much of that Wood Pile have you burned this winter??? My son in law, Chris, was splitting wood last weekend.....I reminded him again about the size of your annual wood pile.

Harry...
Someone here recently told me something about Uncle Vic.. that could apply to you in the picture if you occasionally looked over your shoulder.. That he would often look at Another Joy's wake and watch the deep V at work!

I always found it pretty amazing at how low the wake is compared to others of its size. Get her really cranked up and it really gets smaller.

Actually I do that a lot.......look over the transom and just stare....listening to the exhaust and just feeling good about how it sounds.
When I had Gassers and running like that I would say "I have lit all 16 candles".....now its only 12 candles......I just love the sound when they are lit and purring! ! !

Ninety two here on Carter Creek (middle Chesapeake Bay) today. Thank God for a boathouse. Planning new interior. Will have a few (yea sure) questions since so many have gone before.
Actually, first question. What over-head lighting (dimmable) has anyone used in the main salon? So many new options, which way to go? Whew!
