Teak/mahogany helm chairs

The boat is about to arrive(B42) and I like the look of timber helm chairs,any thoughts on which is best? can you buy the hardware and make he timber yourself,I`d love to build my own,Any thoughts???

Todd, Murray Brothers makes a great helm chair but big $$, Maybe you could find a decent used chair and rehab it to you liking. To build your own you will still need the hardware, you can rechrome and rehab for much less that new. BH

Call Release Marine and ask if they have any remanufactured chairs. They make beautiful stuff!!!

If they don't, ask if they can keep an eye out for them. They get trade ins reasonably regularly. They are great people. Truly.
