Suzuki auto departing US

A while ago there were rumors that Suzuki was departing the US.. the link below is to a Suzuki release explaining that they are exiting the US auto business only, and will in the future focus on their motorcycle, ATV and marine businesses

I thought I heard it was due to our wonderfully changing, stringent emissions standards.

They are still shipping cars throughout the rest of the world...
