Hurricane Sandy Recap

Post by neil »

Hey it's Junior. It has been a brutal two weeks but we made it. We woke up Tuesday Morning with this in the garage Image The whaler floated in the garageImage The water came up about 3 1/2 -4 feet in the garage, and 3 inches in the house. Image Moms boat floated in the neighbors driveway attached to the trailer.Image The pool popped out.Image And since we didn't have a generator JP was kind enough to bring over the Chimera for power for the fridge and lampsImage My dads guys came over and got the yard clean and got all the insulation out.Image I had a Birthday I will never forget.Image we got a little winter storm.Image Now I am working on the whaler outside because the garage is full of things that needed to be moved for ripping out the sheetrock in the house.Image And we are still running on our new generator and we were told today that we should have power by tomorrow morning.Image. We are going bass fishing tomorrow. And school is supposed to start on Monday

For starters Jr......I want to wish you a very happy Birthday.

My heart goes out to all of you guys for having your worlds turned upside down.

I DO admire the fact that thru it all you find time to go fishing.

Just remember, What don't kill you just makes you stronger.......

Jr
Thanks for the pix and update. Have been on the otherside of the world for the last 2 weeks and out of touch, so i was wondering how "team bahia moon" made out. Damage looks pretty bad but be thankful you are otherwise alright.

Happy late birthday, and happy thanksgiving to you and your family (including of course uncle Marky)

Kind of gives new meaning to:

"Yeah, I'll find it. I just have to wade through some stuff in the garage".
