Sandbox Back online
Greetings Faithful !
Finally, the move to the new webhost has been completed...
It's been a daunting task and one that I wouldn't ever look forward to again, but at least now I'm sighing a big breath of relief.
That's the good news, but there's a bit of bad news to go along with the good. Ain't it always the case?
The bad news is that the previous version of the board is forever gone into cyber space. So we lost about 2 weeks of transition posts that were on the old board but not this one. We'll live... also, the very old original Matt's Scripts board is probably lost in space. I'll try diddling with that another day...
The next bad news is that we lost registration for about 12 or 13 of the newest members that had registered. If you happen to be among those that happened to get lost, please accept my apologies and please re-register. Be sure to remember to answer correctly the security question at the end of the registration form. If you answer incorrectly or not at all, it will appear to you that your registration was submitted, but in reality, it just gets automatically dumped. If you have a problem, email or call me.
If the hint on the registration form doesn't guide you to the answer, the answer is: all Classic Bertram Owners and Fans
Best regards,
Patrick

Re: Sandbox Back online
Another bad news item is that some of the post at the end, going into the transition period were lost. I know that Bruce listed a couple of engines for Steve and that post is misssing. So if anyone has a missing post please re-post it...

Re: Sandbox Back online
I should note that credit is due to Mark D. Hamill of phpBB Survices and Support for getting the bulletin board back to fully operational. The migration company tech who was doing the move didn't have a clue as to what he was doing and I called in Mark. Mark gotrdone along with some other updates and mods in under 2 hours. Mark's the man for phpBB trouble shooting!
Thanks again Mark! Money well spent...

Really glad to see your smiling face again!
I needed to go to "The Hull Truth" board to get my boat fix. But I will get better soon.. I hope!

Re: Sandbox Back online
I thought it was me. My computer crashed about the same time you went off line. When I got back up and running the board was gone.

A big thanks to Mark. I know in tallking to Pat thru this malfeasance, he suggested he may marry again just to torture himself.
