March A/C pump

Post by Capt.Frank »

Has anyone worked on these pumps? My A/C stopped working algae clogging everything up. I took it all apart cleaned everything and had problems getting it to pump. I cleaned it up now its like the impeller won't stay aligned, after 3 or 4 time taking it apart I got it to work. Now today not working again. Almost $400 for a new pump. The motor sound fine just the pump (wet end ) not working. Since it just a magnetic drive pump, I found a wet end assembly for about $150. I was wondering if any one has experience with these pumps? Also thought about using a Cal Pump but have heard March were better pumps.

Thanks

Frank I agree March has a much better rep. Never fixed one but $400 is high.
Here's a 510 gallon for $236 http://www.marinaire.com/category_s/25.htm
just bought a a.c from then good company to deal with.

Thanks Dan ordered one tonight. That price is better than anything I found. Thanks again.
