My father and I met the father in I believe the late 70's early 80's. Time flies can't remember.
We had planned to double up one time and head offshore. We sterted but got blown out and had to turn back about 10 miles out. Lost touch with them after that.
You should give him a call. I bet that would be a flash back for him.

You are right. His fathers name was Manny. We met him once when he told us to stop by and say hello. We had run into him while fishing and started to talk over the radio.
He seemed like a really nice guy. Had a nice place over in High Bar Harbor. Looks like the house must still be in the family.
