Cancer Support Bike Ride

Post by TailhookTom »

Please continue supporting Capt. Patrick and this wonderful site.

Just a quick head's up that I am riding a spinning bike from 10-11 today to support Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's Rare Cancers Research Fund. One of my co-workers died of cancer in the fall and left her husband and 3 year old daughter behind.

I'm riding in memory of my dad and cousin - lost both of them to cancer and Mark's daughter Mara. I'm also riding in honor of all my friends/brothers on here who are survivors and/or currently fighting cancer.

I'm not looking for donations -- I've done that already. I'm just letting you know I am thinking of all of you and supporting all of you.

Heating pad and advil are ready for my neck afterwards -- its taken a long time, but I have 80% back and am looking forward to getting more.

Wish me luck!
