B-31 Trailer?
This topic pops up from time to time, but anyone know of a trailer for a B-31 in the North Carolina area available for rent.....needed for a long haul?
I don't know of a specifc source, but you might try calling Boat Recyclers in Wilmington.

Beau Johnson may know a source as well. He has boats hauled occasionally. He has done some work on my 25:

Tommy, glad to see you back in the Bertram 31 business again. I have had my old boat hauled twice. And I would think that if you were going to move it any more that 100 miles that you would be better off getting a professional mover for the trip. just my 2 cents...Russ

Agree with Russ on this, Tommy, she's a big load. Also wide. Too wide for many bridges.
I followed mine for fifty miles once by a pro hauler. Scared the crap out of me.

Tommy,
Did you buy another 31? If you need a trucker coming from Florida call Barney @Skipper Shipper in Stuart, cell 772-2852432, office 772-225-1279. He's moved my 31 many times, also delivered the teak boards to Bob Higgins in Mass from Fl. What model did you get?

Tony,
Yes, looking at getting back on the Kool-Aid...
Bruce,
My buddy with a HD diesel duelie volunteered to tow it for us. He tows rigs to races all over the eastern US, and he was looking for a little road adventure (translated: wanted to get out of the house for a while). Still, a thousand miles is quite a haul...
Pete,
Thanks for the recomendation; boats in northern Michigan, so unless your guys have a dead-head trip back south from there, they are probably out of the picture...
