Bob what you posted is an email address. In trying to find the link you wanted to post I came across this.

http://www.greenportvillage.com/calendar.html

They list the rendezvous as a village event!

Sponsor response has been scarce at best. I'm going to do a re-mailing and hope for better. I gotta think it's a combination of the economy and that I sent them out late February when it was cold. I will keep you informed and maybe/probably ask for some assistance, as my spare time is getting more and more limited.

Hi Guys ....
To date, I have received three commitments for potential prizes (one is for a discount on a purchase). We are approximately 90 days from the date and my time is getting more and more restricted. My plan is to do another mailing. I will definitely need whatever assistance that can be offered. My time has become very limited and I don't see things letting up in the very near future.
I would like to address this off-line with anyone that is willing to help out this project. I can be reached at:

516-810-0959
bertramp1@aol.com

email might be best, as we can copy in several people to any communications.

Finally got through last week. Just got confirmation of my reservation today. My wife will be disappointed about no Shakespeare. Always complained that I never took her to cultural things. Last year saved the day...for a while.

August 5,6,7th. No problem. A phone call with a credit card number will guarantee a slip. Tell them you're with the Bertram 31 group. 10% discount on check out if you belong to Sea Tow. The Marina's # should be on page 1 of this thread. Walter

I did mailings for prizes only and delivered to Bob Lico those prizes that came to me here in FLA.
If tent needs ordering, please confirm need so that it can be addressed.
I have never been to one of these events, those that have ... please step up and lets try to finalize the needed items.....tents, meals, whatever.
I think Brewster has some/one of the meals set up .... confirmations on numbers may/probably need to be confirmed, as well as $$.
Shirts seem to be moving along....thanks Harv.

Shirts are coming along nicely. Those that haven't ordered may kick themselves for not jumping on board. They are going to look magnificant!! I also received one of 2 boxes of prizes from Bimini Bay. I had a nightmare with UPS and if I had my choice would never use them again. Anyway, still waiting on box #2.

Hey guys this will be my first over night trip on the Bertram. A few questions.

I do not have a gererator or inverter but I do have shore power. Thinking about bringing a small microwave and coffee maker from the house. Also a small camping BBQ. Will of course load up the cooler with drinks, fruit, burgers etc.

No AC or screens for the windows but I do have a large role of screening for repairing screen doors.

What do you guys suggest are important considerations? Also I guess I need to pick up two sets of twin sheets?

I'm sorry to say, but we are not going to make it to Greenport. We are about a week away from moving into a new house that was supposed to have been completed early last November. There is just too much going on to make the trip. I had hoped to meet you guys.

I am not coming to the event, but is it possible for non-attendees to send in some money and be included in any raffles?

Returned home late yesterday...

The Greenport Rendezvous was excellent and I had a great time, as I'm sure everyone else did. Greenport is, and will be, a hard venue to beat or even equal for future rendezvous'.

A big thanks goes to all participants for coming. I don't recall seeing a single frown the whole weekend. A special thanks to all the guys who labored tirelessly to make the event one to remember fondly.

A real special thanks to Harv Freidman, Bob Lico, and Tom Hart for their hospitality. Harv shuttled me from and to JFK, put me up for two nights and Tom and Bob allowed me to camp overnight on their boats. Thanks again Guys!

Pics below are from Tom's iPhone. (click each image for a larger view...)

Best regards,

Patrick
