Grinding dics..?

I'm removing 3 through hulls in the bottom of the B20.. What is the best grit disc and tool to use for feathering out the hole .. ?

A couple years ago I used Perfection to redo the engine box and stern panels and had a helluva time sanding just the gel coat..
I think i used 36 grit green alum oxide on a Dynabrade DA w/3/16 orbit .. not the most aggressive tool but good control...
Don't have that kind of CFM avail at the boat and was thinking a grinder but am concerned about being to aggressive and it's a tight space on one of them under engine..

4 1/2" electric angle grinder is my absolute work horse. Be it welding, fiberglass, wood, sheet metal or what ever, my grinders are rarely out of sight...

4 1/2" 36 grit disc with 3" backing plate, (backing plate is almost always a used thin kerf cut off wheel), and most of my abrasives I order from Harbor Freight.

That's the tool I was looking at but it's interesting that your backing plate is less than the disc.
I thought they would match .. Is that to help feather an edge.. ??
