My daughter Kylee and her boyfriend Josh gave me one cool gift...flight...Joshs' brother Jeff is a flight instructor out of Plymouth..took us up over Cape Cod Bay and Vineyard Sound...all the places Ive seen from the water..quite a different view from 3000 feet..even let the old man take the controls...BH

I'll bet it was a hoot! ! ! Seems like everything goes into slow motion once you leave the ground, don't it.

Just like you said, at 3000 feet the terrain looks totally different.

That is awesome!

I remember years ago when dad was fishing Giants, he would make arrangements to have the family go for a ride in one. We would bee line for the areas that produced looking for the boats that were taking home the fish. If we still had enough fuel he'd let the pilot take us around the Statue of Liberty on the way back.
