More Snow......Really??????????

Post by JP Dalik »

Still have a foot in places on the ground here and looking at another 10 inches tonight.

A pretty snowy start looks like a real winter.

At least we have snow plows up here.

We have them here too...Finally Saturday Night we got our 1st snow plow on our street from the last storm...followed a half hour later by the second Plow and salt spreader...then about 11 O'clock we got our 1st garbage pickup since the storm.

I'm really done with snow already...looks like dad picked a good year to retire to Florida...

My wife has to stay in a hotel in the city tonight so she can get to work tomorrow. My sister in law has to spend the night so someone can watch the baby while I dig myself out and get to work in the morning.

Thankfully I can dream about planning my trip to greenport otherwise I may go stir crazy

I'd take the snow. We have sleet, freezing rain and mayhem on the roads with more to come.

JP, I had thought you said, " You wanted to see some more snow before Spring." So us southerner's were tired of being cold down here on the coast and sent you some more rain to make snow up there.

Cheeeeeers,

You nor Easter carpet baggers just need to man up and tolerate the land in which you currently occupy.

Dug:

Why is it good for business? Do bearings fail more often in snow? Or, are they smashed beyond repair in accidents?

Don't make me drive up there and smack you!

I have tried really hard to think of something smartass to say.....but for the life of me.....I am lost for words

Except for......Help us out here HUESO....

Actually Sat and Sunday were good days for sanding the bottom on DeNada....cold enough that a Tyvek suit was comfortable.

Hang in there JP......spring is not one day closer than it was when you went to bed last night.

It's being reported that Florida is the only state with no snow. That's 49 of 50. Not 58 as Obama has claimed.

West Hartford CT, I'm on the side of a small mountain, so I have a little more than Hartford itself has. Parts of the state are pushing 30" at this point and they are saying more Tuesday!

The cold is good for Florida. It kills all those non native species.
