Takes about 30 secs to open a page when normally is kind a click and go.
But since 7 Dec that have been reported several DoS - Deny-of-service attacks on many servers around the world.
And iPhone and iPad are also very bandwidth intense traffic consumers and more people watching sites like youtube or facebook or similar.
And some ISPs, cable modem companies, and DSL providers take the overbooking concept too far. They funnel so many connections into a small combined connection that normal customer demand overwhelms the capacity of the combined connection. This is a particular problem during peak use hours, when line speeds can slow to a crawl.
Overbooking allows an ISP to combine several customer connections into a single link that's smaller (and less expensive) than the combined total of all the connections they serve, without reducing the amount of data sent to a customer when they are downloading data.
And there are lots of things that could lead to this slow problem but normally is a ISP provider fault or a overloaded server.

My 2 cents

its the wikki leaks criminals clogging up the net in retaliation for their "leader" getting tossed in the clink in the UK. Shows how fragile our world has become.

And a cold snap has hit Cancun, Mexico and shut down the global warming conference. Proof there is a God.
