Surgery Postponed.......over!!!

Post by Harv »

At my appointment Monday, the doctor was late due to being T-boned in an accident. He was in some minor pain with his neck. Today, his office called and requested a postponement until next Thursday. So it looks like another week of unsteady nerves for me. And I was all geared up to go in tomorrow morning....oh well.

That's a bummer, Harv, cause I know you were psyched up to be done with it; but much better to have a healthy surgeon. Keep us posted so we can rally around you.

Got home a few hours ago. Stopped by surgeon's office fist to have the packing and 2 splints removed. 2 more come out Wedensday. Now the fun begins....only able to breath through my mouth, nose constantly draining, throat sore, sleep upright for 3 weeks, soft food for 10 days,......thank God for the Drugs!!!

So finally things are looking up. With the rest over the winter, I sure the boat will get well next. And with the weight loss you'll be ready for action.

Harv......maybe the new "normal"?.......

BTW, I'm still lying about mailing the Bahia drawing, short of stamps. I'll try to find a spare 50# anchor to tie to your ample ass to keep the wind from blowing you away as you continue to drop pounds.....
