charlie the invitation is there any time you want. over here (fire island)they get real close to the beach. you need to have bow out ready to thottle if a wave is going to throw you on shore . then they take off and the birds are a mile away so you run and gun . real tough on the boat.hopefully they will go to deeper water and the captain can fish .

Fishing? I almost forgot what that was. Maybe after next week's surgery, i can contemplate the finer things in life again. On a lighter note....(Pun Intended)....I've dropped 30 pounds since Greenport!!!

Oops..looks like I may have picked it up.

Good for you Harv, it's not good carrying around so much extra weight...ask me how I know...

Another surgery...damm!! Best of luck for a speedy recovery...and please no more of them...unless it's elective.

Thanks Randall, but that 30lbs only equated to a 1 inch reduction in belt size.....so far!

Carl, actually 2 of the 3 procedures are elective.
1st is a cyst removal for bioppsy.
2nd is repair deviated septum.
3rd is removal of some soft pallet to alleviate sleep apnea.

Harv,
Good luck with your surgery, I don't care if it's elective or not, anytime you go under the knife it's dangerous. Keep your spirits up and you will be back on the boat sooner than you think. Congrats on the weight loss, I am gettting the stitches out on Wensday and hope to see the guys at the boat show either Thursday or Friday. I start PT on Monday morning for 4 weeks 3 days a week 2 hours per day. Can't wait to get back on the golf course(played only 4 times since May 2) and do some work on the boat.
