Halon FIre Extinguisher Recharge

I have a Halon fire extinguisher in my engine compartment that finally needs to be serviced.

Even though Halon was the most effective fire supressant ever made it was put out of production because it is an ozone depleater.

Yep, putting out an engine fire at sea fire is a good idea, but don't do it if you will hurt the Ozone!

I have found out that that it isn't illegal to have the extinguisher recharged, if I can find someone to do it.

Do any of the Faithful have any leads on that in the New Engalnd area? Or anywhere else?

Or is there some newer fire supression technology I should be geting schooled on?
