Florida keys marina??

Post by amuh60 »

I have the oppurtunity to keep boat at NAS Key West (Boca Chica Marina). Marina has new docks! Questions for those familiar:
1.) Can anyone in area comment on marina and it's location?
2.) What about hurricanes is it safe to leave boat properly secured?
3.) I sometimes have to deploy on short notice would anyone in area be willing to check on boat if I was unable to get down there? I would pay for the job!
4.) Any other comments or advice would be appreciated!

This slip is a short notice offer and for a very small fee.

Sorry Andy, not really any of the faithful down there in KW.
I'd offer, but it's unrealistic, I'm at MM102 and have only been down to KW
twice in 12 yrs.
But if you're in a pinch- gimmie a shout.
I don't know what the world may want,
But a good stiff drink it surely dont,
Think I'll go and fix myself...a tall one.
