Since GM quit making throttle bodies, both Crusader and Marine Power no longer have any stock left and neither does my distributor.
Need a new throttle body assy. for a 454 (7.4Liter) marine.
Or a really good condition used one.
Thanks.

Thanks gave em a call.
The salesman was not the sharpest pencil in the box but seemed to have a line on what I need.
Loved the old days where the sales people knew more about what they sold then the tech guys.

Well it seems Arizona Speed is a flop.
Dicking me around on in stock/out of stock.
If anyone has another lead, I would appreciate it.
Also if anyone knows of one off a dead engine (Crusader 7.4L XL) that I could scavange for parts or as a running unit.

Bruce, sorry it didn't work out.
Same friend who picked up the parts at Arizona Speed was able to locate them at NAPA. He said they where able to get most parts for his Marine Power Motors.

Been to Napa, no go.
Known them for 30 years and he picked up the phone and even called it in. None of the numbers on the injectors or body matched anything they had in the books.
I'll try engine dist. Thanks

Bruce: Probably a stupid question, but I assume the Mercruiser part is different?

Ridiculous, getting parts should not be so difficult...

Rawleigh,
Merc should be the same since they were made by Rochester. Only difference may be the cc of the injectors.
That last post you made was the intake throttle body for an MPI or multi port injection.
The MPI's don't have the injectors in the body but in each cylinder.
Thanks though.

When you have one maker of parts and they stop some years ago, yes you will.
