Where generally would I like my bunks to contact the hull in a cradle set up?
Moving my boat to a facility with cradle type slings. Bunks are adjustable. But, I don't know where I should have the bunks contact the hull on my Bert 28.
Basically under the stringers or set a bit wider?
Anyone got a picture of a B28 on a properly set up trailer? That would be a good starting point.

The cradles suxed. Undersized I beams for support. Bert 25 with no tower was putting some serious deflection on the I beams. The real problem was not the I beams, per se. It was the piling spacing.
I indicated to the prospective lessor - WTF, bait and switch, I would not hang a bubble boat on that gear.
He kept trying to claim the cradles were rated for 10K, and the Hyena weighed only about 8500 lbs. I suggested that the Hyena, even in Howdy boat trim, was north of 12k.
So, I s. canned that idea, and rented a traditional sling.
Thanks for the assistance.
