There is a 2 page article on ethanol in marine engine fuel in the most recent (July/August 2009) "Sport Fishing" magazine.
There in no mention of this article on the cover, so unless you subscribe to this mag you would not know it is inside.
The article mentions lots of different problems, but hints about one issue I have not seen before.. that being the potential for ethanol laced gas to damage aluminum tanks.

I believe if the levels of ethanol go above E-20 then you should start being aware of the fact that the ethanol will etch the aluminum. That's why I bought a new ethanol proof fiberglass tank, and i am switching to diesel anyway.
