Glasstech cockpit in Bahia Mar

Post by Bertramp »

The glasstech cockpits that I have seen end at the aft end of the engine boxes and offer a small piece that goes in the walkway between the engines. What do folks with Bahia Mars do for the remaider of the floor or is there a piece available that I am not aware of ?
thanks

I have a regular Glasstech deck for a Sportfish for sale if you are interested. It is still in the shipping crate. PM me if interested.

Bertram,
We're redoing the bahia from the stringers up. I went with a Cabrera deck and engine boxes...I think about the same layout that you're considering. My glass guy built the floor from the cockpit forward including the space between the engine boxes and the helm area. He made a hatch between the engine boxes which I can measure for you next weekend if needed. I can also get some pics on the cell phone if you're serious.
Call me at 713-906-0842 and I'll get her done. No problem.

Spoke with Richard Kidd ... there is a forward piece available for Bahias. There has not been a great demand, so ...as you guessed it .. it's pricey. If any of you have picyures of what yours looks like, I would greatly appreciate it.

We have a glasstech deck in our Bahia Mar and the rest of the deck was fabricated out of fiberglass. I will try and find some pictures.
