Transom Rod Holders

Post by Tony Meola »

I am looking to put two rod holders in my tansom. I remember a post about this sometime back but can not find it. I was wondering what fits better the 15 degree or o degree angle holder? Do they stick out past the gunnell?

Tony you can do either the 0's or the 15's, just move the 15 toward the back of the transom as far as possible. I have 0's on mine, but wish I would have used the 15's.

I think JP has 15's on his.

Transom Rod Holders

Tony: We put 15s in ours and they fit fine. We were able to center them fore and aft with no problem.

Brewster

I know you never have enough. But I figure that gives me six in the gunnels and then I can run one long down the center off a holder on the railing on the bridge.
