Has anyone tried this antifouling paint? I saw it advertised last year and a I got a flyer in the mail from West Marine showing same.
This stuff is lot cheaper than some others. Must be a reason.
Also, Boaters World came out with some water based Antifouling paint.
Any thoughts?
West Marine CPP Ablative paint

I haven't tried the Ablative. For alot of years, I used Petit Trinidad--great paint. Once it got close to $200 gallon, I tried the Boaters World BottomKote on my Whaler--figured I could haul easy if it didn't work out. It worked fine, and so for the last 2 seasons I've used BW BottomKote (last year I paid $50 gallon) on my B31 and Whaler. I'm mid-Chesapeake.

That is correct. From what I was told at West Marine was that all the West Marine paint is made by Interlux.

He has used that CPP and has had no problems for the last 2 years.
I am going to give it a try.
I used it when I did a total strip job. Did the Intelux barrier coat. Then a coat of it in black then 3 coats of blue got 4 season out of it no problem this year it time for two more.
