Tank Removal

Tank is drained, the bronze fill and pick-ups are removed, and its been flushed with water.

I was able to get 2x4s by about 12" down each of the fill holes, and ran long threaded rods through the 2x4s and up to 4x4s that I put across the deck supports. Cranked on the threaded rods and let sit overnight. Went down tonight, gave her a little help with a small bottle jack that caught the lip of the tank, and up the tank came. I cranked a little at a time for about 15 minutes, and got the tank up about 4 inches, so I think I'm good. I could her "stuff" lettign go--sounded like I was breaking a caulk seal. Anyway, the idea worked pretty good if you don't have your bulkheads out, don't want to cut up the tank (boom factor), and don't have access to a backhoe or crane to pull the tank up. Just an idea if anybody is thinking about doing the same.
