Holiday Greetings!

Post by CaptPatrick »

Well, here's wishing everyone a Happy and Safe Holiday Season!

Whether it's Christmas, Chanukah, Festivus, or whatever: The Best to You, Guys, Gals and Kids...

I hope you all have a Successful & Prosperous New Year, and we all survive the politicians & the bag of switches they've gifted us with this year.

Ho ho ho, be merry, be happy, & don't worry, better days are comin'

Thank you all again for being my extended family and all of your support. With out you my world would be a lot dimmer.

Best regards,

Patrick

Got a couple of pumas in the area that chupa the chupacabras along with plenty of cabras themselves...

Here's my chupacabra-in-training:

Both of these were shot within the same hour a couple of weeks ago. Dog shot was from about 50'. Ever see the front teeth on a gopher? Hey the cat ain't no fool... But Mig did win. Tig's a wimp.

My 2009 resolution...BUY AMERICAN! Read your labels. Even your fruits and vegetables are coming from elsewhere. Generic drugs worry me now, thanks to melamine appearing in Heprin, toothpaste, milk products, candy bars etc. Keep our money here with companies that employ Americans. We've come full circle, support your local businesses, even if it costs a bit more. At least you'll know who you're supporting. Walter

I am right there with you Walter.

Two recent experiences: My daughter was going to purchase an 8' bait cast net for her husband while were in Bass Pro Shops. The price was $72.00.
I called the local bait shop, ran by an extremely hard working gentleman, and asked if he carried them.....the answer was yes and they run $72.00.
She purchased it from the bait shop.

Laptop computers......Office Depot had a good price but basic software was extra. After considering the software we purchased it from the local computer repair/sales shop....a few bucks CHEAPER.

Jo Anns waiting on me........gotta go

Merry Christmas to all

While away from home, I wish to all Bertram friends a Merry Christmas and a New Year of 2009 with all the best, including low taxes, low fuel cost, (better stop or I'll became delirious tremens). Is like knowing you all even without knowing none of you in person. All the best and that your wishes become in your way.
