??? for Capt. Pat or Anyone for that matter

Post by tds8268 »

I notice that the factory brochure from bertram lists the dry weight of the FB31 @ 9600 lb. does this include the gas engines & gears or is the weight listed just the bare boat? Considering a trailer for winter storage and this info would be a big help.

Thanks
Dan

Dan,

The weights that Bertram published for the B31 are gross dry weights, including engines, transmissions & batteries. A fully loaded wet weight, (personall gear, electronics, fuel, water, riggers, etc.) will be 10 - 15% heavier & could be 20% heavier for some loading situations.

For trailering & lift equipment, safe capacity on the B31, use 15,000 lbs as a load weight.

Br,

Patrick
