I'm not sure but indecision may or may not be my problem.

Reminds me of the old outer limits episode where the saucer lands and its filled with bug body but human faced prisoners that try and get into the cabin to eat the people.

They both have that OS .60 engine sound.

At the once a month "Friday Festivals" here in Downtown Melbourne, they always bring this weird looking robot down from the college and have it out on the street, moving around (sometimes), very slowly and clumsily.

It looks like an oversized vacuum cleaner with a bunch of batteries and loose wires.

I make the same dumb joke every time I see it: "So what exactly is this thing's purpose anyway? To find all the nerds in a crowd and make them form a circle around it?"

A computer programming buddy (one of the nerds) was with me one of those times, so I sent him a link to Andre's video.

He immediately shoots back with this: The Big-Dog Beta Video

That thing should be deployed to Broadway in Riveira Beach, it would scare the hell out of the crack whores and sober up all the drunks and gold toothed dope dealers.

That first video was great. Look how far we have come.
The second video was hilarious. Priceless.

Nice video Andre....DARPA has so many new systems in Low Rate Initial Production it is scary.

We have 4 here alone.

I pity those foolish enough to war with us.

Paul,

Does that mean that we may see a robotic clone of you bringing your boat to the NE Rendezvous next year??

Capt. Pat,

Anything is possible. I miss every body after a long voyage.

I've used the boat maybe 5 times this year....bad weather summer.

Pete caught his first striper in june but it was only 22 inches long.

I was shooting at the range last week and picked up one of these....

Wrong pic. That is the "carbine" version. I want the longer rifle version. Not sure the purpose of the shorter barrel, as if you were going to actually clear buildings with the carbine, yeah right.
