Dehumidifier question, do they wear out?

Post by AndreF »

It seemed my 8 yr old Worst Marine unit (round one, about 1 foot dia) was pretty darn hot yesterday.
Should I trash it and get another one?
I'm not sure but indecision may or may not be my problem.

It was hot all over down there yesterday. Does yours have the fan in it? My square one is just a 100 watt heating element and there is nothing to go wrong other than the element breaking. Check it with an ohm meter and see what you get. RR looked real good when Drew passed by the camp yesterday.

Yeah, it's got the fan.
