After a long winter in her heated digs, the B25 is almost done. Here are some updated pics. Engines go in tomorrow, then wiring, plumbing, electronics install and all the other bravo sierra button-up items . Shooting for a Memorial Day weekend sea-trial and on the Cape by 15 June...

I think you meant that the composite drives are Duo-props and I agree, not necessary in twin apps, although I hear they do have a much better hole shot than single prop drives. The boat looks great, can't wait for fuel numbers to see if diesels still have an advantage over gas, I think they do even with today's fuel prices but your numbers will either prove or disprove that. Have fun and congrats on a great boat!
Looking for my next boat!

Prices you say.
Considering the last 31 I did with the d-4 volvo's got 7gph burn each engine at cruise I'd say they are a good investment.
Owner just came back after his 3rd trip to the Bahamas and did 1400 miles of cruising and burned 600 gallons of diesel. Not to shabby.
Only problem I've every encountered so far with that install considering the owner loves to run in 6' seas was one engine mount stud loosened up and that was it.
Goes back to Pats' and mine motto.
By God you may run into a bridge at full throtle and sink the bastard but those engines will still be attached to the beds and stringers when they haul it up from the bottom.
Beautiful job. Love to see something different. Hope I get to see it in person one day.
Good luck and post pics of the final product when done.

BTW, the composit drives are great for someone who leaves their boat in the water all the time. Have changed a few out down here.
Duo props were the answer to get big fat tub boats up on plane faster with smaller engines.
I had a long term argument with a customer with an under powered boat that came with bravo 1 drives. He wanted speed and someone told him to put bravo 3's and I said no.
Faster means larger prop, go with the 2.
No he spent the money to put 2 b-3 drives on and got 2 knots fatser and tried to rub in in my face.
Then I pointed out that the ratio he had before was 1.5 and they went with 1.85 and thats where he got the speed.
I told him I could have changed his gear set on the old drives for 1500 bucks and done the same thing.
Guess who had the last laugh........
