Rudder angles

Post by Pete Kupper »

Can anyone tell me what the rudder anels are supposed to be? Found that y yoke was not hitting stops so made new stops that were bigger but it doesnt seem to be giving me the travel. I have set the rudders according to the instructions found in this site. Thanks for any help. 1967 flybridge

Pete,

The rudder throw should approx 45 degrees either side of amidship. More than this puts undue strain on the system at high speed & less reduces your turning radius.
