i recently saw your livewell on the Tips section. that is the ultimate well. Was wondering how the piece is attached to the boat? does it rest on the deck? through bolted? sorry but im puzzled

Matt,

No bolts, two hidden screws on the gunnel, epoxy, fiberglass, & fairing...

On B31s with the large fuel tank, the bottom is about 1" above the deck, on earlier models, the bottom is about 3" above the deck.

I wish I could do something like that on my boat. Think all the deck hatches might get in the way. Not to mention I just would not be comfortable with all the weight of the water being supported by such small clamps.

Kevin,

Don't worry about the weight...those clamps are temporary, the finished clamps are forged steel C clamps, much stronger.
