Ok we got the hatches cut & the base in.. Not aluminum, Like I said before .. Heres some pics,If you guys arent tired of them by now,,

the deck looks like coosa board but is usually grey in color.that is best product i ever used as compared to balsa core,divinicell and nidacore the coosa board has no drawbacks.
ironman keep up the good work .the end results will justifys all that sweat and labor.

Looks good Wayne. Those stone masons do good work. (I should know my crew who are all stone masons helped me with my entire repower).

One question. Will your deck be removable? It looks like its screwed down permanatley and that you will be glassing over the screws? I am debating whether I go this route or not.

Looking real good!

Seeing the blue tape on the hydraulic lines reminds me to offer a masking tip for the future:

When painting, especially in bilges, engine compartments, engines themselves, & other areas where masking involves lots of wiring & hoses, use aluminum foil rather than tape. It's quicker, less expensive & far easier to remove when the job is done. Just crush it on. Save the tape for flat surfaces...

Whatever is within reach... Hey I need rollerskates for my knees.They're shot after40yrs ,of flat stonework(Now I only take veneer & walls)
Just to keep the record straight,The boatyard guys are ndoin most of this deck, ever since we got above the bilge...
I have seen em use the foil trick too.
Getting closer now.
Good point on the removable middle for the tank, I requested that in the begining...

Fish boxes are the one thing newer boats have over our older ones. But hey, it's easier to add a fish box than it is to try and make a flimsy boat solid.

Wayne, I don't know if bigger is better.

I don't know about your area but fin bait (not cured) $30 a scoop in S.D. last year.

With the price of fuel it might go up this year.
