New C panels for Yanmar

Post by MikeM »

Does yanmar make flush mount kits for the individual gauges in the panel.
I know the gauges pop out of the panel, but have not been able to locate
any. I would like to mount the whole panel but the dash is to small to mount both.
thanks MikeM

I had the same problem when I repowered my B28. I took credit back for the panels and bought Aetna digital tachs and VDO gauges to fit into my existing dash panel. To do so, I had to cut the Yanmar harness and tie each corresponding wire to the Bertram harness. Once the wires were identified, it wasn't too bad of a job. I puchased new VDO gauges and matching senders from Lauderdale Speedometer. The tach sender from Yanmar worked with the Aetna tach. The Yanmar switches tied in well with the existing Bertram alarm panel. To my knowledge, Yanmar only offers the cluster panels in a few configurations.

Not sure if this helps...but I'm working on something similar. Check out my old thread.
