Diesel additives
My mechanic just told me that he has tested locally delivered Diesel fuel and has found the Cetane levels far below par. He recommends adding Cetane Boost to my fuel. Earlier Bruce had recommended an additive called Standyne (I think). The only thing I have ever added was Bio-Bor to kill/control algae growth. Not having any experience on the subject, I'd appreciate any help I can get. Given the price of fuel, I wouldn't be surprised at any games that might be played with the product. Walter
Walter: Stanadyne is good, as is Power Services Diesel Clean. http://www.powerservice.com/dieselkleen_cetane.asp it is available at Walmart.
