Brewster - do you get raw oysters? If so, put the Oysters Mosca on the menu, they will bust your doors down....real simple and pretty quick.

This retirement is getting to be work....ice machine at the house is busted, just went thru all the checks.....compressor is not starting or even clicking....circuit board controls everything on the newer ones....got some CX working on it now....leak in the roof around a water heater flue, I does not do no roofs no more...got a guy out today that is gonna fix it tomorrow, supposed to rain tomorrow...boneheads that put the flue in a few years ago forgot to caulk it. Leaves still falling, got the blower in hand...cooking dinner for the Bride, a rump roast stuffed with garlic on the pit as we speak. House doorbell for the back doors don't work, never has in the 21 years we have lived here....CX the buttons, got the front door one working, then went hunting for the doorbell itself....it's behind a little grill that's been painted over about 50 times and 12 feet up the wall in our foyer.....6' stepladder ain't gonna cut it, need to bring the 10' one from the camp one day or like I told the Bride, let's just keep the gate in the back of the house locked so no one can try the broken back door doorbells....she gimme one of them looks.

Other than that, I'm enjoying not "working".

Ah yes, the list of things we never got to because working for a living never left time to fix up the house. It only allowed time for the boat. Tony Meola
