Saw that boat a couple years ago.in Newport beach Calif... Has Cummins in it..
that bio (Veggie oil not the human fat) is a cool thing for us diesel guys.I guess till too many people try to do it.Then there'll be fights over the chinese food grease dump. ..

Neat looking boat.

But I don't see outriggers, rocket launchers or a bait tank ?

Makes you wonder what would happen if that vessel flipped over in really bad ass seas. Its probably real seaworthy but this cajun ain' getting in that thing.

"The boat is designed to cut through waves rather than sail over which enables the boat to go faster through big seas compared to conventional craft."

Until it meets a really big wave and turns into a submarine!!! It looks a lot like that ugly and expensive Wally boat. http://www.wally.com/default.asp?bflash=1

The Europeans do build some butt ugly boats!

I love the guy's quote: "If it were up to market forces, biofuels wouldn't happen at all. "
Duh...maybe because it's not feasible, for many reasons...........like balloon travel.
I'm not sure but indecision may or may not be my problem.

I think the sun shines on their heads more in the Southern hemisphere and makes them sorta nuts...what ya say, Nic?

Notice the route avoids the Southern Ocean where the real round-the-world guys go in the blow boats. I built an 8' plywood flat boat when I was 13 and put a 10 hp Wizard outboard on it (a store brand for the famous Mercury 10) and told my momma I was gonna take it around the world...she said "stay in the bayous"....

I was baffled by that quote too.....I want the Gov't to legislate so other people pay for my hobby...at the same time I want food prices to go up for everyone. New Zealander...explains a lot.
