Hello to all,
I am new to the forum, but have visited Bertram31.com over the years. My uncle runs a Bahia Mar that was restored a few years ago. His insurance company is raising rates again, which can be expected, however, he would like to see what else is out there. Can anyone recommend an insurance company? Many companies will not write a stated value policy even with a survey, due to the hull being a '68. This is a problem as there is a substantial disconnect between the value they are willing to write and the value of the boat. Thanks in advance, and it is nice to meet you all.

If you do a search you will see a number of postings on this and the old message board on insurance. I use Boat US but as you will find there are several companies out there the guys on the this site use. Tony Meola
