Wayne,

If the pair you're looking at are Fujinon Techno-Stabi 14x40, then it's a fair price. Not great, but fair... New is around $1,100.00

If they are the Fujinon 12x32 then you'll be over paying... These can be had new in the $750 range.

I've handled one pair on a friend's boat, (can't remember which power), and they were pretty much the cat's ass.

Br,

Patrick

If you really want to go first class find a set of Fujinon stabiscope S1240s. Only one problem, once you use them nothing else will do. I may be trying to justify the fact that I broke down and oredered a set for my son a couple of months ago. They should be here any day now. $5,000!!! The stabiscopes are what all the big time marlin fisherman are using. I suspect that the six pac boat found the techno stabis lacking.
Good luck with whatever you decide. The technos are nice binos, just not in the class of the stabi scopes. Have you had a good marlin season? This seems to have been a pretty good one in So. Cal.

Wayne,
Have you checked on Ebay? Although the bidding is not closed yet, I noticed a couple of them under $800. Thought it may be worth a look for ya.
