winter storeage

Post by thereheis »

i am fixing to store my 31 bert, for the winter.gonna flush it all out,,drain all water on saltwater side,,now ! i have a option of putting it on the trailer and storing it that way inside a covered dry stack building or having it put on one of there cradles,.. but to put it on the trsiler i need to have a haul-out service place it on the trailer.otherwise i can have the fork lift set it on the cradle,$$$

would it be ok on the cradle for say 5-6 months????

Phil,

You should be OK on the cradle, unless the bunks are too close together. If you can get them to do it, & there's room above your top, have them set it on ground level and add 4 blocks around the chine, (2 per side). This will spread your load...
