UVI 8 at Tropic Star

Well, the Uncle Vic IInternatioanl Invitational 8 will be at the Tropic Star Lodge in Pinas Bay, Panama next year....South Louisiana is just not ready to host it again after Katrina. Maybe someday....

Anyway, I have 15 slots reserved, fishing 3 to a B31 for June....the drill is fly to Panama City on Friday the 13th (stay away from the casino at the hotel in PTY is my advice), fly down to the TSL on Sat. morning, fish 6 days, come back to Panama City on Sat. and back to the US on Sunday the 21st. The TSL has bumped the price about 350ish from last year, just figure it is a 6 grand trip with your airfare, your share of the bar tab, and boat tips.

I have offered slots to those who went last year, and have a few commitments.....I'm going for sure..the newly retired Minister de Pollo is in, Tom P and Don Moore are in......I will take grovelling applications for slots, remember its an Invitational, you have to be invited to spend your money.

It is indeed the trip of a lifetime, five star + place, fishing on Bertram 31s and they have a lot of fish...
