Islamorada Charter Fishing

Post by mikepelham »

All,

As always, its nice to rely on this group for recommendations. My family and I are staying in Islamorada and would like to do a charter fishing trip, any recommendations? A Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all!

Thank you

Yes, Takedown Charters out of Whale Harbor Marina. 40' Cabo express owned and operated by my good friend Greg. We've fished with him twice (both times in Feb): https://www.takedowncharters.com/

You will not be disappointed!

Sorry, one more thing- the online request form on his site is apparently not working. Best just to give him a call or stop by the boat- it's in the harbor right behind Wahoo's restaurant.

We used Captain Gregg, and he was fantastic! We caught a great size Grouper on the last day of Grouper season as well as a ton of other fish. Highly reccomended!
